A GLC owner said that his car has 360 panoramic images, but when the speed is lower than 30km / h, the rear camera often turns on and off automatically, and the central control does not display a fault, but the sound of the flap can be heard. How can this happen? Is something wrong?
Let's give a point of view first: if it only occurs at a speed of 30km / h, the high probability is not a problem.
The automatic opening and closing of the rear camera at low speed is caused by the need to calibrate the rear camera based on the system characteristics.
Due to different models, the speed regulations may be different, some are lower than 20km / h, some are lower than 30km / h, and another condition is that the steering angle of the steering wheel should be less than 10 °.
The above two conditions are met. If necessary, the rear camera will automatically turn on / off for calibration when the vehicle is moving forward.
During calibration, there should be no car behind your vehicle, because the camera must shoot the asphalt road before the calibration can be completed. The whole process lasts about 1 minute, that is, you need to drive forward at low speed for more than 1 minute before the rear camera can complete the calibration and close the rear camera cover.
During the whole calibration process, if some conditions are not met, the calibration will exit automatically, and then start again after meeting the conditions. So, if you encounter this problem, just find a road with few cars and drive at low speed for a few minutes to complete the calibration.
